In Order of Appearence



picassofreddy.gifFreddy- Bartender of the Lapin Agile, nice and understanding, but very ignorant to the historic events happening all around him in his bar alone. Although he is like this, he does have his rare moments of brilliance, which he portrays at the very end of the play.



picassogaston.gifGaston- an older French man who is an expert on women who studies them, but never touches them. "It's my saving grace". Gaston constantly has to go to the bathroom and talks about his now non-existent sex life and how he wishes to have it back. In the play he is upset because he is in a good mood, which is not his usual mood.



picassogermaine.gifGermaine- waitress and Freddy's girlfriend, is having an affair with Picasso, but is still in love with Freddy. She is very opinionated and literate, she is also pro-feminism.




picassoeinstein.gifEinstein- age 25, a young and brilliant scientist who is very passionate about what he does. He sees his equations and formulas as something beautiful, just like Picasso's drawings, although Picasso may not agree. Has writen a short but insightful book that he claims only needs one specific person to read it in order for him to become famous.



picassosuzanne.gifSuzanne- age 19, is easily swayed by Picasso and has slept with him more than once.





picassosagot.gifSagot- Picasso's art dealer, also a scam artist, who owns a camera after buying it off a Japanese tourist.





picassopicasso.gifPicasso- age 23, one of the more brilliant artists of his time. His study of women consists mainly of sleeping with them, which he tries to do on a regular basis. His art is reflective of his feelings and thoughts of the moment. During the play he is in his Blue period, and at the end switches to his Rose period. He speakes of a moment of which genuis comes, which is a privilege to be there when it happens.


picassoschmendiman.gifSchmendiman- a young inventor who is extremely incompetent and feels that he is the greates inventor of his time. He is very full of himself and his inventions are completely ridiculous. No one seems to like him, except for his female admirer who makes her appearance well after Shmendiman makes his.



ss.jpgCountess- Einstein's girlfriend. She is extremely attractive, thinks the same way as Einstein, and can't hold her liquor.





Sherron.jpgFemale Admirer- Makes a quick entrance near the end of the play. Quickly runs in, mistakes Picasso for Shmendiman, realizes it's not him, and then leaves. She is a fan of Shmendiman and is dissapointed to discover that Picasso is not him.





picassovisitor.gifVisitor- "the King". A country boy who doesn't drink and has a thick southern accent. He wears blue suede shoes and is constantly telling the others not to step on them. Also swivles his hips in an inapropriate manner. Is a messenger to Picasso and Einstein from the future.
